Standing Rib Roast
Serves: 6
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 5 lb. beef rib roast
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 8-10 pound average first 4/Rib Roast

Directions

Allow roast to stand at room tempurature for 1 hour

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine salt, pepper and garlic together. Put the roast, fatty side up, and rib side on the bottom. Rub the seasoning onto the roast.

Roast for 1 hour in pre heated oven. Turn the oven off, and leave the roast inside. Leave it in there for 3 hours. 30-40 minutes before serving, turn the oven back on to 375 degrees. Remove from the oven and let the roast sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
